  • Photos exceed 2mb size limit

Hello fellow members, I tried to post a mod I recently did with photos using my Apple IPad and could not upload the photos because they exceeded the 2mb limit. I looked to find information on how to resize the photos that are stored on the IPad but my efforts failed. I would appreciate any help that someone who uses the Apple platform can offer to help me re-size photos so they will upload on the NROA website. Do I need to install a third party app to run the original photos through? Thanks in advance! Coop

Not sure if there is anything specific to Apple, but any free imaging program should do it. For example, IrfanView is free and under the image tab when you open a photo in it, there is a menu item called "Resize/Resample".

For pictures I've take with my iPhone I email them to my PC and use
the editing software on it. I use GIMP on my Linux PC.

I resize photos in my Apple products by:
          1. Opening them in "Preview" which then has a resize option under the "Tools" tab.
          2. Sending them to my email, opening the photos and right clicking where there is a resize option (usually ).
          3. I can't remember the third way I do this, being old is so much fun.

          Good luck!
