  • Thinking of a new 32A

We currently own a 2016 25Y and are thinking of upgrading to a 32A for a little more room. I really like the 25Y, and want to see if any current owners can weigh in on the 32A, both good and bad.

The only bad IMO is the low CCC. Brochure shows 1575# Of course that will be lower when everything's added in like batteries and propane.
One of my favorite floor plans BTW.

I agree. We'd love the space of a 32A (even if it is 6" narrower than a 25Y) but we travel heavy, and the 25Y's much higher cargo capacity is what we need.

And I have to say we've encountered spots, typically when driveway surfing, where we barely got in with our 25Y, and probably could not have entered with a 32A.

        We like ours!
We are weight (tongue, axle & gross) conscious though. Overall length is a concern sometimes too. For example, there are only 14 sites in Yosemite valley that can accommodate 32 feet. We are living in ours now during a remodel & the space sure is nice!

I appreciate the input on this potential purchase. After looking your input and looking over the 32A with a different perspective, I have decided I will stick with the 25Y, It has a lot more places to store water hoses, chocks, BBQ, folding chairs, etc. Now I think I will look for a new 25Y. Thanks for the assistance.
