  • PDI & Warranty Issues

There is a sticky post with an excellent PDI list. I thought it might be helpful for a thread to list any issues found during PDI or experienced under warranty after leaving the dealer. Seems like it would be helpful to new buyers, plus just interesting to read.
Here are the issues that I remember we had.

    1. Solar panels wired wrong in the collection box. Dealer fixed
    2. Bose speakerbar not wired correctly. I fixed
    3. Fireplace would randomly come on without us turning it on. Dealer replaced fireplace.
    4. Loveseat foot rest not working due to a broken brace. Loveseat replaced by dealer
    5. Convection oven fan installed backwards. When fan was on, vent would not blow open. Dealer reinstalled.
I did not include minor issues like loose screws or drawer/door adjustments.

Anyone else care to share...and please do if you didn't have any issues too!

During PDI, kitchen window screen damage noted (replaced before end of PDI).

First day after leaving dealer (shake-down trip), the converter wouldn't charge the batteries (warranty replacement).

All and all, trailer was ready for purchase and all PDI list items passed.

PDI was a breeze. Spent about two hours at the dealer and have never been back. I did fix a few things but spent way more time changing things to fit our style.

We had a c r a p l o a d of stuff wrong with our 2012 25Y when we first got it. Noticed on the 'quality control' checklist's date that it was a Friday. Gee, wonder if those rumors about stuff built on Mondays or Fridays is really true.
