  • Air conditioner recomendation

    Air conditioner stop working, have an appoitment to bring it in this week, wondering if confronted with replacement, what are recomendations for 11k unit?
    2013 AF 22H, trimetric 2030, sc2030, 2-160 watt panels, 2- 6 volt crown 235crown, F250 7.3 smoker

    Explain "stop working" please. Does the fan come on but the compressor doesn't start? Or no fan, no compressor? Does the heater run OK? What model is the A/C now? Just trying to see if we can save you $$.

      Hear fan working but no air coming out. i think its coleman 11k. Hit a low hanging branch so could have something to do with it

        Remove the interior ceiling cover of your A/C unit.

        Check to make sure your baffle (lightweight fiber board) hasn't fallen down and blocked your airflow and/or is allowing all of your cold air to be directed outside & away from the interior of your trailer.

        Many members have had this issue (do a search on 'baffle'), since the baffle is just held haphazardly by the interior A/C walls. Mine was askew when new, and I placed in in it's proper position and used foil tape to keep it in place.
