    Per the California Parks System, all state campgrounds are now closed until further notice.

      We just learned today that our, very difficult to come by, reservation at Leo Carrillo State Beach was just cancelled.
      I'm sorry - I fail to see how self contained RV.s, parked outside and separated by a good distance is a problem.

        Agreed....

        They may just want to limit any possible exposure to their rangers, employees and hosts by the campers arriving from places near & far.

          Just read about transient and full time residents being evicted at private parks in PA. If the park has cabins for rent it is considered a hotel and must close. I can’t imagine being a traveling nurse, dealing with covid, then being evicted.
