    Tom & Paula,

Stewarts Point is nice with a great view and close enough for an easy trip to go visit Valley of Fire. Wonderful that your first dispersed camping experience was positive. Interesting to hear Valley of Fire was full.

Happy & safe travels to you!

You’re right! Not the best time of year to visit but, yes, you should have your choice of sites. You’ll want electric fir your AC!
Enjoy! It is a special place!

This is gonna be our last stop before heading back to LA from our 2 week trip in the summer. I know its gonna be freaking hellish hot but it looked too amazing not to pass up. Only one day/night and since its in the middle of the summer, I don't think we will have a problem finding an electric site.

Valley of Fire SP, NV - the MUD Report

Valley Of Fire, Nevada: We spent a week in December in this dramatic state park & I hiked in the incredible red rock formations. We have updated the travel blog with all the details: http://mud-on-the-tires.blogspot.com...-dec-2019.html Since then we spent a few weeks in Boulder City NV with some good friends. We are now in Camp Verde, AZ near Sedona. Unfortunately, we will return to Colorado for a while to help with a family emergency. We should be moving on to Tucson by the 3rd week in January.
