  • RV parks - cheers and jeers

Haven't noticed a topic similar so will start one folks. Will start off by posting on our current trip:

Jeers - KOA Spokane WA - expensive with very tight spaces, narrow access roads to the sites, site we got was unlevel to the point the steps were extended to the point the last step was dangerous for old folks like us. Neighbors awning was 2" away from our slide out. We had a site on the end of a row and people pulling out in the morning missed our trailer by inches.

Cheers - Woodlands RV park Libby MT - Nice park folks, very spacious sites, quiet, friendly, easy to get in and out of. Reccomended if you are in the area.

Jeers. Bogachiel state park, WA state. Hot water pretty lacking in the showers. Fortunately rig had plenty. Bigger problem - low voltage at the pedestal. EMS shuts off for low voltage protection around 104V. Shut off many times during our couple day stay there. No camp host. Maybe too early in the year yet?

Cheers. Ft. Worden state park, near Pt. Townsend in WA state. Huge sites right on the beach. Full hookups. Easy back in.
