  • Fair price for 2017 AF 25R

I am considering selling my 2017 AF 25R, upgrades like lithium batteries, tank heaters, solar ready etc. I live in Western Colorado. What is a fair price for a 25R in great shape? Thanks.

I looked at the site Hamster listed and couldn't believe the prices for used 25R trailers! Some are higher than their MSRP when purchased new! Most locations I recognize as dealers, at least in the NW part of the country.

Yup, they are dealers. Prices are set by demand. Demand is very high for RVs right now Definitely can get a better price from a private party but wanted to give OP a rough starting price for listing theirs for sale.

I know the prices are jacked up by the stealers, oops, dealers. I looked through the listings because we have considered selling our old Fox, but each year find a reason to keep her for another year. This year Dave got two tags for hunting in Oregon--deer and antelope--and can use the trailer both times. Our 2002 was about depreciated out--or we thought it was.

As a seller I am happy to see good prices in my area. Scarcity is driving the price up. And if you want an AF, there are so few available. I am thinking about switching to a Slide-in Camper. Now they are really expensive.

Completely agree with Hammster. Having shopped for 6-8 months with the limited supply on dealer lots prices keep shooting up. We finalized our purchase in April, today the same model and year is a little over 10% higher and folks may not see one to take delivery until spring.

Insane prices! I had hoped ours would retain a decent value, but never imagined a dealer would sell one for more than we paid for ours 5 years later.

Dealers can ask whatever they want to ask. NADA has always been and continues to be a pretty fair guide to current values. I had a 2014 25R that I sold and have been sort of in the market for another R or W. I haven't run across a 25R in range yet but I have seen two nice 25Ws at low NADA, one of them was posted on this site.

I looked at the site, too. Am astonished to find a 2004 AF 29-V for $34,900! We have a 2002 Nash 29-V and I'll bet it's worth more than the $9,500 we paid for it in June 2014. Back then, NADA's value for it was $10,000 - $11,000, but the value of things are what the market will bear.
